GRS News India : Barasat, 20th. March,.2025 . KINGSTON EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTE, Barasat recently concluded a highly successful campus recruitment drive in collaboration with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), providing a significant platform for aspiring graduates from various disciplines. The event, held at the KEI Barasat campus, witnessed enthusiastic participation from more than 25 colleges and universities both Public and Private across Kolkata and its surrounding areas, with a total of 550 plus students registering for the opportunity.
This collaborative effort, spearheaded by the institution’s leadership team, including Secretary Mrs. Uma Bhattacharya, President Mr. Tipam Bhattacharya, and the Training and Placement officials, faculties who aims to prepare final-year students from diverse academic backgrounds, for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
The drive was specifically tailored for students pursuing Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), BBA in Hospital Management (BBA-HM), Bachelor of Science (BSc), and Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degrees. The initiative aimed to bridge the gap between academia and industry, offering students a direct pathway to potential careers with one of the world’s leading IT services, consulting, and business solutions organizations.
Since the announcement of the TCS Campusing 2025 program has generated, significant excitement among the student community has been observed, with many expressing their eagerness to be a part of this career-defining opportunity. Other than Kingston School of Management & Science and Kingston Science College, students who participated in this event, from George Group of Colleges, MAKAUT, Brainware University, Institute of Management Studies, Dinabandhu Andrews Institute of Management and Technology, IQCT United World School, Barasat Govt College, Eminent College, WB State University, RBC College to name a few, claimed it as a Game Changer in their final year” At Kingston Educational Institution, we are committed to equipping our students with the skills and confidence they need to thrive in the dynamic job market and those from the broader academic community with the tools and opportunities they need to succeed in their professional lives.” said Secretary of Kingston Educational Institute Mrs Uma Bhattacharya. The campus drive featured a comprehensive selection process, including aptitude tests, technical interviews, and HR discussions. TCS representatives conducted rigorous evaluations to identify promising candidates who possess the requisite skills and potential to contribute to their organization.
Participating students expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to interact with TCS recruiters and gain valuable insights into the corporate world. The event provided a platform
for students to showcase their talents, network with industry professionals, and explore potential career avenues.
The happiness of the students was multiplied along with Kingston Educational institute when the selection list showed the names of the following students from KEI. The successful students are Sristi Sarkar (B.Com) from Kingston College of Science, Prattay Sarkar, Sounak Simlai and Kashfi Ali all (BBA) from Kingston School of Management and Science, Debolina Chatterjee and Arnab Das both (BSc) from Kingston College of Science, Abhilisa Ghosh, Soumojit Patra and Lina Ghosh, all (BBA -Hospital Management ) from Kingston School of Management and Science. Students from other eminent institutes like George College, Institute of Management Studies, DAITM also got selected in the TCS campus drive .
