In a vibrant display of cultural richness and communal harmony, Jiban Saha, the dynamic Councillor of Ward No. 57 and Member Mayor-in-Council (MMIC) at the Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC), orchestrated a grand Annakut Utsav at the KMC premises. This festive celebration, which unfolded with immense fervor, saw the participation of over 1000 enthusiastic individuals who came together to partake in this joyous occasion.
At the heart of the Annakut Utsav was the ceremonial presentation of 101 distinct items as bhog, symbolizing the multitude of offerings made in gratitude to the divine. The attendees, representing the diverse fabric of the community, engaged in this sacred ritual with utmost reverence, fostering a sense of unity and devotion.
The event reached new heights of grandeur with the presence of esteemed guests, each contributing to the celebration’s significance. Notable figures such as Sudip Bandhopadhyay, Lok Sabha MP; Shashi Panja, Cabinet Minister in the Government of West Bengal;
Pradip Majumder, Cabinet Minister in the Government of West Bengal; Sujit Bose, Cabinet Minister in the Government of West Bengal; Nayana Bandhopadhyay, MLA; Atin Ghosh, MLA and Deputy Mayor of KMC; Mala Roy, Lok Sabha MP and Chairman of KMC; and Shreya Pandey, Convenor of Manicktalla TMC, graced the occasion with their esteemed presence.
